Over the past year, I’ve made new friends and got to learn a lot about other cultures. As an International student, I experienced culture shock in the first few weeks of college. The only thing that made me go through it is the community around me which was full of diversity. Through the help of my friends and mentors, I was able to navigate Atlanta, especially finding a church, international food markets and where to go to church.
Now I Love my life here, and although I miss home, the sense of connectedness I uphold with the people around me helps me go through a lot of things.
